I'm very happy that she's letting her feathers grow back! Especially since she plucked twice in a year. She just gets very upset having her nails or wings trimmed. So I'm using the pedicure perches and she'll remain full flighted. Cuttlebone for the beak, too. But only occasionally as she makes a HUGE mess with it!
She is the most docile bird I've ever seen. Perfectly happy to just hang out on my shoulder. Always willing to step up. Never gives me a hard time. But she doesn't like Jo or any other women. Which might have been part of the plucking problem. A woman (her previous owner) trimmed her nails in February. The next day she plucked.
