CAGs are the best! So smart. She will cycle through lots of different phases. Sometimes needy, sometimes standoffish, learning to whistle, talk, ah they're wonderful! Congrats on the beautiful one.

I love when they do the stretch, I rarely am prepared with my phone to snap a picture.

It's funny when a non-parrot person witnesses their stretching, at least those who have witnessed Perjo, they don't understand why she is doing, they think she's posing or trying to take off.

Very beautiful CAG you have.

Elvin..have you had her DNA'd? And are you going to?

I always believed Amy was a "she"..last april at her yearly wellness checkup, her doc wanted to do blood work and I agreed. So I said as long as you are going to draw blood, you might as well do a DNA too.

Well imagine MY surprise when the results came in..Amy is really an AMOS! She has been fooling me for 27 years..I've been living with a "transgender" birdie all these years lmbo!!

Makes no difference to me tho..I still call her Amy..and refer to her as a "her"..it will never change the way I love her.

And as folks have said....DNA'ing would be helpful if ever there was a health emergency.
