more progress with sky!!! :)

I'm pleased to report that sky has made some more progress she now stands on my hand and climbs up to my shoulder no bites!!!! this is how I did it! I took her to the lounge and slowly brought my hand near her she obviously bit me but I never flinched I have learned that if you flinch when they bite it just makes matters worse. Instead I sucked up the pain and left my hand there she was a bit confused by this and she walked away she then returned and bit me again she did this several times and I stood my ground. Then amazingly she climbed on my finger she will however not let me near her when I am by her cage she is a bit territorial!

That's awesome you're making progress! Just a thought though... You might not want Sky near your face if she has a tendency to bite; it's a lot harder to ignore a bird clamped on to your face than one clamped on to your hand.
