I know I've seen this mentioned before, but today it was extra noticable. Today in River's fruit/veggie bowl he had bird street bistro, fresh brocolli, and strawberries. Now he smells like strawberries! He seems to be puzzled why his mom is a weirdo, but I can't stop sniffing him! LOL He smells so good!

Puck always smells like whatever he's been eating or chewing on. I learned to NEVER FEED HIM CHILI OR HE WILL STINK THE REST OF THE DAY.

He also has his own little odor too. It's sort of pungent.

I like to hold him on his back and take a big whiff of his belly. lol.

"Non bird people" would probably think we're all plain crazy sitting around sniffing our birds because they smell nice! lol.

Merlin & Charlie (Senegals)
Haha! I loooove Merlins normal smell, it's really soothing. Like a mother who knows her newborn baby's smell... that's what I think Merlin is like to me. I'm always sneaking in a sniff when he's tired or something ^^

He's just had apple and there's a tinge of fruityness to his Merlin smell.

I love my birdy.

strawberry smell is not too bad but one of those bistros has garlic in it. I do not like my bird smelling like this so I do not feed it anymore. Ughhhhh she really had stinky breath.

Now that Kazi has learned to enjoy showers (or at least accept them) I sniff him all the time. He smells a bit like a curry! Unless he's been eating brussels sprouts, then he smells like raw broccoli.

Yuck! Garlic smell wouldn't be nice! After I read this, I ran out and read through the ingredients on my bird street bistro. Fortunately, the flavor I picked doesn't have any garlic in it. whew!
