Hi All i wounder if you would please be able to give me advice on the following problem.
We have had our umbrella Cockatoo since march. His name is Coco and he has been through two cages and is on his third one.
He somehow manages to rip the round bars off.So after the 2nd cage we decided to get a bigger cage with thicker round bars.
He has managed to rip off those round bars aswell and in the process has been breaking his beak and it is a constant thing where everyday when i get back home from work, he has broken his cage even more.
im not sure anymore of what i can do to prevent this? why is he doing this to his cage? i do belive bordom has got some effect on this aswel but is taken out his cage every afternoon for 2 hours when i get home.
Im really worried about him and i most definitely dont want to get rid of him as he has made home and has accepted us in the house hold.Very loving bird but hates my father with a passion.
