Jonesy a Goffins 'Too who had to be rehomed :-(
And a Normal Grey Cockatiel named BB who came home with me on 5/20/2016.
...Now BB has never taken anything to eat from my hand or fingers..
I don't know if its because he was starving or not. But I just made him a plate of sweet patatoe,mac and cheese,and some salad things,broc,carrot,cauliflower etc and put his plate down on my desk.
I put my finger in the sweet patatoe and got a small piece on my finger tip and offered it to him and he went right for it! I manged to dip my finger tip in the patatoe five times and he ate every bit,
I also offered him a piece of mac,holding it for him,and he munched away almost eating the whole thing. He also nibbled on a piece of broc from my fingers.
I'm so proud of the little fluff boy
He is still on his meds and his poop is looking lots better...things are improving for him
