Anyone let their bird play on a flying saucer?

I would guess budgies would get great exercise on one of these but other birds might get some exciting play time. Anyone tried it, and did your bird have fun with it?

I saw those when I was shopping for cages and it looked like it might be a kind of crazy fun toy for a playful bird. Even if he doesn't play on it, it might be great with wooden blocks hot glued on for him to chew and chase.

I'm planning on getting one after I actually get a bird.
