My little Rose the lutino pearl I am keeping. It was a tough decision because I like pied too. The pied has been given to a friend from church. Pied will move in with her once I am sure he is fully weaned and eating on his own.
They land where they want to most of the time now. I see them planning their flight. They look where they want to go before they take off.
They are starting to eat pellets, seeds and vegetables. They also ate toasted oats today.
They step up when asked. They accept scritches when they are not too busy flying or perching up high.
I kinda miss them because before they fledged they would sit with me for a long time. Now they just stay a little bit before they fly off.
I know it just takes time and effort to bond..
Just like their parents they love to be out. They try to spend the night on the ceiling fan. I dont let them.
