Hey yall. I wanted some advice.
Due to unfortunate circumstances, the only remaining member of my flock is John. I've noticed him becoming quite depressed since being alone and it breaks my heart. I would love to get him a new friend or two, but here's the issue:
I'm most likely going to be attending uni in a year or two, and i don't know if I will still be living with my parents at that point. My hope is that I'm able to have an apartment by then but realistically that may not happen.
Obviously I'll first get my shit together before getting more birds because right now I'm not doing the best mentally which makes it hard to care for pets, alongside other stressors.
However, assuming I was in a stable position mentally, would it be a bad idea to get another bird given my other circumstances?
