bird carriers

What do you guys use for bird carriers when visiting the vet? My brother used my cat carrier box, but that's rather large even for an Amazon.

Hi David, we use a Pak-O-Bird carrier, its superb, light weight, will last a lifetime, but is $$$. I feel Salty is worth it. We dont use it much at all since he has learned to accept his harness so easily, just to go to the vet and back. THe one above is OK, but they are HEAVY, we have one for an outside cage that we use occasionally.

That looks to be way overkill to me for an hour's trip to the vet. And no smaller than my kitty carrier. This one looks like it might be a winner:

My son and his girlfriend have used a smaller version of that carrier for their cockatiel for years and he's done well in it.
