So, I also keep star tortoises, and as part of their diet, I feed a lot of opuntia cactus pad. The pads are spineless and are very healthy for the tortoises that need the high fiber in their diet.

It got me thinking- does anyone feed cactus pads to their parrots?

If you do end up feeding any sort of cactus part to your parrot just be careful, because (this is just in case you didn't know) it is a laxative. I have fed cactus pear, the actual fruit, no pads.
