cage

So I'm either getting that one or one off craigslist... But I'm a little sketchy about getting one from craigslist... if cleaned properly would it be fine?

Craigslist is where I got most of my cages from... lol

The HQ Cage, I put an add up looking for a cage (none local in the stores that I wanted, and I didn't want to ship one in) and someone had bought that particular cage for sugar gliders, but ended up not using it... and sold it to me, brand new, out of box!

Charlie's big 40 x 30 cage previously housed an amazon in it, but the owner moved into a smaller place and really didn't have the room for it... so I bought it. I later put it on consignment at a local pet store, and the money from that went into boarding my birds there. His current cage, as I mentioned previously, came from my brother in law and he bought it off of Ebay, I think?

The A&E double flight cage had finches in it before I bought it. The guy was selling finches, cage and all! But the person who bought the finches didn't want the cage... and I wanted the cage, but not the finches! So it worked out in the end... lol

Someone else was selling three small flight cages, $10 ea and I wanted small cages as carrying cages or transport cages. The cages previously had finches but the owner got rid of them so I came by to take a look. I ended up only wanting two of the cages, but she gave me the third one anyway. I gave the third one away, and kept the other two. One is in 'storage', and the other is currently housing my bourke parakeet, since I have her on a different diet than what the tiels eat... but she definitely prefers living in the double flight cage! (with the tiels)

Also have another cage I bought off of Craigslist, cleaned it up... and then never used it. It needs new dishes, but I haven't gotten any to replace the old ones. They are a bit harder to replace because I don't know the cage brand and the dishes are tall but not very wide, so not just any dish will fit inside.

I like saving money where I can so I can spend more on food and supplies for the birds! (which probably sounds bad... but I don't go cheap on food! And the more toys, the merrier!)

Shoot they just removed it. I'm 99% positive the cage is an A&E dometop and the dimensions are 17 x 22.5 x 30. It has a stand so total height is about 4 feet.

Is that big enough? Or should I keep an eye out for bigger?
