I follow the death counts for coronavirus reported in only North America and also reported cases in NA. Anyone with apposing thumbs knows that any number from China, etc... are manipulated. Seriously manipulated at that! Anyone that loves numbers can see the lopsided structure in the China numbers, especially as they attempt to define the settling effect... However, if one looks at the number of cremation containers being purchased, there exists a vast difference between reported deaths and contains (why does that provide an insight into the number of deaths). I'll let
those with an interest find the numbers. The dangers of playing numbers is that they quickly turn on the manipulator.

FYI: And to that point regarding US numbers! Most States are not reporting the results of the tests they are evaluating in their own labs!!!! Once again, the power of comparative bases allow projections and at some point, public exposure of those playing games with their numbers. In an upcoming daily National Update, some hapless reporter will fall into the hole and ask the obvious question and several States will be exposed. And, a small sample of that occurred today with a statement regarding the lopsided difference between supplied tests and reported test results, compared to reported cases. Once again the Power of Numbers is in understand where the strengths are and clearly where the weakness are and then the effect of history of those who believe they can cheat the system.

Yep on tests, Florida has a back log of thousands in North East Florida, as reported and asked every day, when will the drive thru tests from ten days ago be announced????
Two ambulance called out in my town, oneva street over from me last night....they got tested and announced the same day, as they are seriously ill and in hospital. I'm glad they got tested, but what about the thousands already tested??

This is so true! Keep in mind, China may try to come out of this as the world’s new financial leader!
And, if you look into the World Health Organization(WHO), and what country controls it—and the roll they play in the Wuhan biotech facilities!

New York announced they aren't taking the dead, ( cardiac arrest) people to the hospital anymore. You can be assured they aren't testing themn fori the virus or counting them either. How reliable can the est 3.4% fatality rate be with all these uncounted deaths?!

Italy and France have reported death tolls that generally included only those who died in hospitals. In Germany, even some of those patients are excluded, because post-mortem testing for the virus is not standard in hospitals.

I'm getting real tired of our updates. We get to hear wonderful things we are doing, great ways we are coming together. Unheard of once in life time wonderful things our government is try to do.
Then it just gets shredded by journalist!!! There is never a positive congratulations, it that's amazing.

I'm not saying things are under control at all, things are terrible.
Lots of mistakes have been made. No one in the world has enough ventilators, or needed supplies.
I've been in this thread from the beginning trying to warn people, over and over.
But after asking 5'000 times will everyone have a ventilator, no, but I think everyone is working hard to make more. No country in the world has enough.

I just want us to focus our energy on how to help
On reporting the cases, and the deaths
On getting people to stay home

Thank You for this and your earlier Post regarding the unneeded and constant stupid questions at the daily updates. The 'got you' questioning never provides insight or clarity. How many times does asking what is meant by 'Our's' provide anything other than 'see how important I am!.'

With great hope, 'they' will wake-up and start doing their job, which can clarity dates of delivery, status of new drugs, status of existing drug therapy, etc... There is so much information provided in most updates that most viewers can miss key points, etc, etc, etc...

Usually the big numbers reported last, as this was over 800 reported this morning, I'm worrying we are going to have even huger numbers tonight.........we are such a hot spot
An ambulance came to my subdivision again last night, and today my town went up one more case...I worry that makes two from my subdivision. And everyone out walking... Staying 6 feet or more apart, but I wish I could keep telling them it's in the air for hours, it's on the road for days..m

Using traditional seasonal effects of the set of Flu Virus that roam around the World each year. South America is just starting to pull deep into their Fall. Yes, this Monster Virus is not the Flu, but its certainly pulling into South America.

Sad reality check that most are choosing not to state is that the South America raise will be extremely sharp and early. The supplies North America is bringing on line will stay with the new Blooms across North America. When South America really goes near vertical North America will be in the settling stage and the demand arounds the country will be met, but with little available to send South. With great hope, the North American 'new suppliers' will begin to exceed use and there will be some hope that some supplies will be available.

I truly enjoy New York's Governor's Daily Updates and I truly mean that I do! BUT, sadly, he misses one fine point in the 'art' aspect of numbers and the realties of disposable supplies and most importantly Human Assets! He's belief, and I truly believe when he says it, if 'others' supply his State's Disparate need, he will return the favor when everyone else's needs rise. Sadly, if you run his models and then use them to run other States numbers. The crossing lines vastly limit his being able to supply little to those other States...

A big problems, is people to run the ventilators, and care for the sick. They are very tricky to use, have to be adjusted for each person, then micro adjusted on each person as lung function changes. Cleanings them is a b"*$....the person is sedated, that's has to constantly adjusted by the min/hour ECT. You have to provide food asva special concoction that goes in the vein. This special liquid is just waiting for bacteria to grow, you have to be so careful..... There is so much work that goes into each person on a ventilator. The staff running these are beyond heroic, and they aren't easily replaced if they themselves become sick.

BTW prepper family, I know how to run old school ventilators!!! As you may have seen in news most things used for animals are passed down equipment from humans, or adapted from human use. So if things go south, maybe you will let me join your community!!! Not even kidding! Ifcouse I've forgotten a.lot of stuff...

On this whole every state should have a stockpile of ventilators, they are very expensive, and the older ones are very large! The valves, gaskets, and parts deteriorate!! New models come online.. no body can sink that much in, for just incase.

And Sailboats, I can not even take imagining what's going on in South America, in Africa, in the middle East, in the poorer countries!!!! There are already reports that the elderly in Spain France and elsewhere are just sedated, so they can die easier. But not brought to hospital or given any other care, as there are no resources to spare on those who have little chance. No doctor want to make theses choices!! Soul crushing, but they have to make these choices.

America doctors and hospital are already making a list of people resources won't be used on.

Look, from what I can gather with estimated peak times, then the equal amount of time slowly going down on the other side if the peak. We are looking at November, before cases will slow to a low numbers...................I pray for miracles, there are a lot of angels working on them.

Is it Really so contagious?
From what I have read in Medical thriller's (Robin Cook just to name one) inhaling 1 or two virus strands while out walking in the breeze isn't going to infect you.

I guess if this virus is so new to the human organism and it's normal immune response does not recognize it as friend OR foe them maybe one or two WOULD be enough. It would just take longer to multiply because it would be starting off slow. This could explain why it can have as long as 14 day incubation period.

Here in my town,a population of about 50k,we have twenty-four cases of the virus and one death,an eighty-six year old retired teacher..we have 4,914 confirmed cases,up 1090 since YESTERDAY and 131 total deaths..the closer you get to NYC the more sick people we are seeing

It is that contagious! They are starting to to talk aerosolized virus!

This virus does not trip our bodies viral detector system!! Not because it's new. Even new viruses can be detected by our body, and our bodies can do a limited response, until immune system learns more. But this virus somehow lucked out in being able to avoid detection.

Also on of the cell receptors sites this virus binds to, is the blood pressure receptors site. That's why people with high blood pressure have such greater risks, and fatalities, and as we age many elderly people have elevated blood pressure.

You can Google airborne times, and surface times. Now take that outside, the wind is going to move the virus in the air, so it can travel from someone breathing six feet in front if you to you very easy. Also little virus particle collides with dust, pollen , ECT , keeping it aloft longer. There are reports of finding the virus on airducts ten feet up in the air in hospital rooms that infected people have stay in. You've likely heard how they want us wearing masks. Man health officials are now saying shower and change clothes when you come home, leave shoes outside.


I'm taking every precautions I can. I'm treating it as an aerosolized virus, that is very infections.

I'm so glad that 80% recover, or hav milder illness....

FYI-- based on that blood pressure hypothesis, calcium channel blockers do not appear to have the same (hypothesized) negative impacts as ACE inhibitors, which is why my doctor agreed to change mine to a calcium channel blocker...kind of like..meh, why not?

I watched an episode of "Myth Busters" where Jamie and Adam did a sneeze distance test. Putting a few drops of food coloring in their mouths then inhaling a pinch of "snuff" to make them sneeze and recording the sneeze with high speed camera their sneezes went about 14 feet...soooooo….six feet??? Good luck wit dat.

Yeah-- and that episode didn't even look at the microscopic spray/aerosol---when the big/visible droplets that went so far, you know the little ones go even farther.
