LOL! Yep! Zip ties rock! Might need some heavy-duty ones for when/if these ones break, as I've heard Greys are experts at dismantling them , LOL!!

Yup, definitely need heavy duty! Mine manipulates to get at clasp. Then the disassembly begins. I've found (many trials later) if color is close to item and clasp positioned out of site ties last longer. But, mine is a disassembly expert.

And zip ties... Been there, tried that. Avery's first upgraded cage when I got him needed a little engineering magic, and I mistakenly thought zip ties would do it. Nope! It was like he had a deeply ingrained instinct to go after them. Size, color, placement, didn't matter. He was actively seeking them out to destroy. Too smart for their own good! That cage didn't stay with us for long. Upgraded twice since then
