Parrots
a Brown-headed poicephalus parrot named Tucker!
Tucker is five months old today and doing so well. He has learned the "come over here" whistle, tries to say "birdie" and can cluck his tongue like my mom does. I'm trying to teach him to lay on his back in my hand as well haha.
He's started biting me a lot but I just try to ignore it or I tip my hand (which kind of throws him off balance) and say "No!".

Today he regurgitated a green pea for me, and he put it on my hand and looked at me sweetly... and then he ate it again! hahahahaha
I love this little guy sooo much and I am so glad he is part of my life and will be for years to come :D

Any other cute stories to share? :)

hey thats so cute :)
i would love to see pics of tucker ......

my alex regurgitates for me and if i dont eat the stuff she brings out well we have a lovers squable ;) hehehehe

Very cute story about Tucker. Popsicle also does the come over here whistle, loves the word "birdie". She says
"Good Birdie"
"Bad Birdie" (She doesn't actually know what a bad birdie is, she thinks this is a wonderful thing and loves jumping around and saying bad birdie, bad birdie)
"Pretty Birdie"
"Who's the Birdie"

If I ask Who's the birdie? or Who's my angel she will sometimes squeal "ME!!!"

She also says "Come Here" and "Step Up"

She does an amazing Crow imitation.

She looked at herself in the mirror once and said "Woooo"

And my boyfriend has taught her to whistle "Flavour Flav" that one is pretty annoying. I'm trying to get her out of it.

Popsicle hates lying on her back, but Poicephalus Parrots are supposed to love to. I just have a strange bird. :p

I love Keupi more and more each day - but sometimes I do miss his baby days.

I don't know if this counts as cute, but lately whenever I'm on the phone (I work mostly from home) Keupi decides that it is the most opportune time to clean his tail, at the highest point he can find for full display. I swear sometimes he's not even preening but just in a pose to watch me take notice. There is nothing like missing a portion of a call because your fid is sitting on top of his house and does that slow-motion tail feather preen thing.

He also is working on my telephone ring - almost has it down... almost... is there a way to get caller id for fid??

LOL

They are too much fun to watch!!! Most entertaining thing in the house.
