We just started getting fleas again :11:
It is mostly in the room Kirby is in, and I can't move him.
Can fleas affect birds? Do I have to keep him away from them? I always let him on the carpet so I don't want them to jump at him.

Ugh ugh ugh. I HATE fleas. :/

You really don't want any parasitic bloodsuckers around your bird. Are you considering just leaving everything the way it is? You should really have them removed, they're filthy, disgusting, and hazardous.

Hehehehe, whoops! I think it was actually tiny flies. We had watermelon in here, and the bugs just swarmed!

Great! No fleas after all. *phew*

I feel a lawyer joke coming on...:greenyellow:

Those damn fruit flies are everywhere, they come up from the drains.

yes i feel ya. they comes as soon as you bring out the healthy fruits and veggies for your bird.

lol Thank God.. Fleas are a pita to get rid of!
You don't have to tell me that. We had to get rid of fleas once before, and it was really, really bad. My sister had to give baths to our cats every day. It wasn't pretty.....

Put a preventive on them when spring starts and keep at it until it gets cold and you won't ever get any. I have multiple cats and dogs and they never get any fleas even though the dogs use the backyard and there are feral cats (which I feed) and wildlife going through it.
