So I want to put together a foraging box for when chester is out of his cage.
Please could you post photos of any that you have created so that I can get some ideas.
Thank you

Here are a couple we've put together. Favorites for our birds are paper straws, sola balls and sticks (especially if there are seeds shoved into the center), millet wrapped up in muffin papers, shredded paper, egg cartons with treats inside, seed pods, and cardboard folded into shapes with treats inside.

I really like this and I will definitely add egg boxes with treats in for Chester

We often bake things first just to make sure they don't have any lingering bacteria on them.

Thank you I would probably not have thought of that

I use old egg cartons, old Amazon boxes, storage boxes, and toss old toy parts with peanuts in them. Yvons, my grey, goes nuts for them :D.

Not tried peanuts yet so I must buy some and scatter them around to see if he will find them

You're lucky to have a sweet thing that actually has a forage box. Nameliss has a scatter and destroy box. I must be weird. I get entertained watching her figure out how get box onto floor!

Nothing sweet about mine lol it's like having a 3 yr old child in the house.
I have just bought a naughty boy perch to sit on the coffee table for when he's pecking the hell out o
