GCC baby chosing advice. One bites a lot and one pretty much doesnt. Which one?

Thanks I definitely want to pressure train my bird once its mine but I am afraid to do it at the breeders house on birds i don't own. I am going back today to play with the birds again. I will post pics and already would have if i knew how.. ha ha
Thanks again for the reply!

Posting pics to the Forum can be done in one of two ways. First you must either upload pics into your album, or upload them to Photobucket or a similar web-based site. (There is a limit to the number of pics you can save in your albums, so for the purposes of simply posting a lot of members upload to their Photobucket account. This saves space for pics you might particularly want in your albums.)

Once the pic has been uploaded to your album/Photobucket account, open the pic and then copy its address. (Some sites have a tab specifically for copying addresses for the purposes of posting to a forum. Choose this option whenever available.)

Once you've copied the address, go to the post/reply box in the thread where you want to post your pics and click on the little image icon. A box will pop up requesting the address of your image. Paste it in and click the okay button. Then type whatever commentary you'd like, if you haven't already done so, and post!

Oh, if you want to post multiple pics to one post just repeat the process before actually posting.

Hope that helps, and ask away if you still have a question or any problems with the pics.

So we chose the pineapple one today! It played and cuddled with us for about an hour and even seemed to want to get off us us to potty and it actually never did potty on us. Main thing was there were no bites! The turquoise did all things opposite of that for the third time in a row.. I hated to switch but I really love this bird. I get him or her next week hopefully!!!!!!:)))))))))))) Thanks for all the advice!

Yay! You wont regret it. I am so pleased for you. :)
I am looking forward to seeing lots of photos. I cant stop taking pics of Chunky. Im besotted with him.

Congratulations! It's never easy to make a choice like that (at least for me it isn't; I wish I could take all of the baby birds).

Good luck with your little gremlin (:
I'd love to see pictures when you bring him home!

Thanks again guys and gals! The other bird I didn't pick sold this weekend at the bird show so no changing my mind now ha ha. Not that i wanted too i really like this bird better! I still plan to pick up the bird this week unless things change and will post pics if i can easily.
Are any of you using full spectrum lighting? I was considering getting my bird one if its helpful.. Also what about sleeping huts or tents? Anybody having luck with them and if so which one do you recommend? What about a water bottle versus a bowl of water so the bird will always have clean water to drink if I'm away. Any of y'all using harnesses? i am also considering one of them. I had a love bird fly away as a kid and I never want that to happen again. Sorry for all the questions again but i am getting very close to my bring home date and I'm freaking out a little bit. Thanks for all the help and kind words!

I have a deposit on a baby GCC right now too. They are all very sweet and hand raised. I haven't really picked a baby yet because they were very young when I went to see them. (5 weeks old).

At the same time, there is a 3 year old girly at the pet store that I go play with every time I go to my parent's house, and she is super nippy… but she is also very friendly and just LOVES people. I was able to keep her from biting by keeping her busy stepping up on my fingers.

I think that GCC's have such good natures in general, and biting is something that can be trained out. I'd go for the sassy one with lots of personality myself… but that's totally up to you!
