I just got this grass mat less than a week ago. This morning when I went to change the water bowl, I noticed a bunch of them swarmed the grass mat. I do not feed my bird on the mat. I keep all my fruits in the fridge because it is humid in here.
Should I wash the mat? If so how do you wash it, with what? I couldnt find anyone else talking about them on their grass mats. OMG SHOULD I HAVE WASHED IT FIRST?

It could be that the bird put something on there himself. I would wash it and make sure it dries all the way before giving it back. I have never heard of washing it first though.

So, this mat is a big one. Do I run it through the washer, just using vinegar or soak it in the bathtub with vinegar? DONT LAUGH! :54:
