Hello and I need a little help

Hi there again Michelle, so glad things seems to going smoother now.She sure is starting to settle in, that's super. The wings flapping, how cute is that, love it, because it last a lifetime.
Mishka is my 3rd AG, none of my birds took to one person more than another. From early my sons and myself interacted equally, sharing the bird. Must admit since becoming Mishka's guardian, they do not interact with her as much, due to working and Uni. Mishka will walk over, and whoever wants to pick her up is able to.
My friend Barbara's AG, Jessie, attacks her husband Cecil, at every opportunity.
Each and every bird for themselves, choosing whom to love, and perhaps one more than the other. ;)

PS what is the birdie's name ?

Hi there again! Well we seem to doing fine. Gabby comes out of her cage now all by herself. I had class last night so I got home several hours after everyone else and she was out of her cage on her play tree. She is fine with everyone scratching her head, but just don't hold her. When I came home and she saw me she started doing her happy wings. Once I was home though it was all hands off. No one could touch her. If I put her back in her cage she started whistling a tune and and hollering for me. So I am completely at her mercy and just adore her. Who knew in such a short time you could fall so in love with Gabby!!! Now if I could get her potty trained that would be great:) I will give you an update after we go to the vet!

Michelle, have you got her shaking her tail yet? When you get home and play with her, that is a sure sign of joy on her part. It won't be long before she tries to feed you, and then it'll be forever.

Well we took Gabby to the Vet on Saturday and she has a clean bill of health. I requested samples from bird food companies to see if I can get her to eat any of them. She will not touch Harrison's at all. She loves avi-cakes and she will eat roudybush pellets(the small ones) I have tried soaking(Harrison's pellets in apple juice(she loves apple juice) no such luck. Very picky eater. Other than that she is doing great. She still just trusts me right now. No one can take her out of her cage but me. She will let other people hold her if I hand her over to them, but that is about it. So I think all is going well with her. I know it is going to take her a lot more time to be comfortable.

She sounds so sweet!! Enjoy your newest baby, you're definitely her favorite mama!! :D

Any updates on Gabby? I have a 4yr old TAG Echo. I had brought him home @ 11 weeks of age and hand fed him till about 6 months. He is bonded with me only because I am the bird person in the house. He will eat just about anything he sees me eating and will try to get on my plate if I let him. Echo's fav food is either walnuts or banana chips. He will do just about anything for me if I have them in hand including going back in his cage. He much prefers being out so as long as someone is home his cage is open..
