I dont know whatvto do next

Im male 66. I have a 15 year old female blue and gold. She is beautiful with no habits.
Today I was diagnosed with terminal cancer. I can no longer take care of her. Noone in my family wants the privilege. Parrots need special handling. She trusts men but not women. I do know I dont want to advertise her. Most people dont have a clue what it takes to care for a big bird. Im not selling her. I dont need the money.
Im at a loss of what my options are

I'm so sorry to hear of your awful situation, @Spiffy, my heart goes out to you and your beautiful B&G. We have a list of rescue centres that you can access by clicking the link here. I'm not sure if any of them are close to you, but even if they're not, one of them may know of somebody who is. Also try your local avian vets, sometimes they have trusted clients who are looking to adopt - that was the case with my avian vet until he retired a few years ago.

I truly hope someone can help you, @Spiffy, either from one of the suggestions above or perhaps someone else among our membership may have some advice for you too.
