I lost maggie tonight!!

Mark, it's great to know you'll get the news coverage for Maggie!!! :) She HAS to be found already!!!

I saw ruby red when I read about the crank call you received. NOBODY has a better life than your Maggie! I can't say here what I'd like to do to that caller, but you know me, so you can probably imagine.

Hang in there, buddy!

Id help JerseyWendy hold him down..lol. Glad to hear about the news feed. I've been eagerly awaiting the message saying she's home and you can get some rest and cuddle with her. I have high hopes with the news feed, that message will come soon!

Everyone in Zoological at SeaWorld got your e-mail about Maggie, and we're keeping our eyes peeled! Prayers for a quick and safe return. <3

Thanks.

I know you guys are.

My daughter worked at SeaWorld for three years.

Oh Mark forget about the prank caller. Im from the Bronx, I have no problem getting in their face and showing them who belongs in a cage…HIM!
I keep coming on everyday to 4 to 5 times a day hoping to find the great news that Maggie is back.
One day that day will come!!

Does anyone know when Maggie's story will be running? I just checked the KSAT website and no story yet... I hope they get it out early enough today that anyone going about their Saturday activities who sees her knows she is being searched for and who to call!

They're coming to interview me today. Right now it's when they get a free news crew.

Probably be on tonight's news.

Just a thought, if they ask for picture, be sure you have at least one of her and your daughter when your daughter was young. That'll really tug on some heartstrings and make non-bird people realize more she isn't "just" some lost bird, she is a lost family member.

Mark, I am so glad you are going to be n the news...praying this is what brings Maggie back home to you.

Already sent them a "lap bird" photo. Sarah's got her cell phone photos with Maggie up on instagram. They're already out there.

The exposure has to help, and if anything, it will make Maggie A LOT harder to sell on Craig's list, or at the flea market...

Hey, isn't that the bird that was on the news?! You need to give that guy back his bird!

Yeah. It's A LOT like that!

I go out at sunrise and sunset every day, and NO MACAW vocalizations. So, either I am in the wrong place, or someone already has found her. A bird as friendly as Maggie will generally land in someone's yard, and if she finds someone she thinks is trustworthy, she'll step up for them.

I still think someone has already found her. They need to find me now!

It's a densely populated area. This is a park in the middle of a whole bunch of suburban subdivisions. IT MAKES ZERO SENSE TO ME THAT NO ONE SAW A THREE FOOT FIRE ENGINE RED BIRD FLYING AROUND THE NEIGHBORHOOD. NONE!!!

Someone would notice.

I agree, Mark. Chances are, it's about whoever has her at this point finding you. So the greater your profile, the greater the chances of that happening.

And tonight's news coverage will serve to further increase your profile. I truly believe you'll both be reunited.

This news story coming (together with all other efforts so far) is the best thing! Along with the photos of her and Sarah, her being a lap bird, etc. any pics that will make people stop to think 'wow' this one is really different. To educate the ignorant non-bird people public how birds can be, and how special this one is. Whatever you can do or say to get that message across and tug on the heartstrings of people who would normally say 'just a bird'. I know you'll say the perfect message in your interview. ;)

GGGAAAAAHHHHHHH! They didn't run the story.

It's drizzling out. Storm moving in. Rain on and off through Monday.

Oh my gosh. No.

Any chance they will run it later?

I don't know.

Mark I am not a very religious person . God and I have had some disagreements in the past but with all my heart and soul I pray you get your Maggie back. I believe in the power of prayer.

Father
We ask you to help us find Maggie,
our dear pet who is now lost.
We know that you
placed animals on the earth
for many reasons,
including companionship for man.
We therefore ask you
to help us find our lost companion,
and pray that You will keep her safe
and protect her from harm until she is found.
We join our prayers with St. Francis,
St. Anthony of Padua, and all the saints,
and pray in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord.
Amen

It's the crickets that are killing me... NOTHING!

She must be inside somewhere or someone would have seen her by now.

This is so hard... and I am really, really noticing how much of my daily routine involves this bird in some way, shape or form. And how much joy and laughter she brought to my life, that just isn't there now...

I miss her so much I can't stand it!!!

For years, I've found myself asking the question, "How is it possible to love a bird this much... "

Mark how is your Flock holding up ? It must be stressful for them also

Does your Daughter know ?
