I lost maggie tonight!!

I just paid a service that will email/call every household in a five mile radius of where she was last seen... with her information and mine.

I'm doing everything humanly possible to get her back!!!

Of course you are and we would expect nothing less from you. We all know how much you love Maggie and all your fids. Thinking of you! Hang in there. :smile015:

Mark its Kinda far fetched but if you know anyone with a Drone. Ask them to hit spots that are hard to get into .

I don't.

It's a subdivision anyway. There are tree lines, and I've already walked them all several times. She wasn't there.

If she was in the area, I'd have heard her vocalize. That's why I think someone has already found her.

Mark, do you mind if I post Maggie's info on another bird forum in case any of those people have heard anything?

I didn't ask permission, so I hope it's OK.

I put out the word on some other forums I am in (essential oils & parrot/animal forums) I know you don't use them, but some of these people live close to you and will help get the word out. Also a vet in Austin, I know a long ways from you, but she is VERY active on social media and if she hears anything she will call you immediately day or night.

If anyone hears anything about one in the area, if someone has found one, or puts one up for re-home or sale, or somehow suddenly has a new Green Wing addition to their household or flock you or I will get notified.

It would never NOT be okay to help! Thanks!

I'll pass her information along to the few people I know that live in Texas. I hope she finds her way back home!

Praying you find your feathered child safe and sound

I'll post on another forum too while we're waiting for good news. Every little bit counts.

I had AHW post her info on our page. We have people in the group all over the states so hopefully it reaches some new people for you.

That's the only way to look at it. I have a Friend in southern Texas that has her own Web site. It has nothing to do with Parrots or Pets but every little bit helps. Once she read about this she put a post up with out a second thought.

Has this been reported to local media outlets yet? I'm sure Mark has been seen by enough locals out and about with Maggie she has some kind of following of people who "know" them and care that she is safely returned that this could be a local news story trying to help get her home. Also, once enough people see it on the news/know about it/know about how dedicated Mark is to her, perhaps if someone has her and has not contacted him yet may be swayed to do so.

Good point April has above. Mark, I posted on another forum and told everyone they have your permission to cross post to all their groups please!

Well, Petfinder just made 5-6,000 telephone calls in the five mile radius where Maggie was last seen.

I dropped off more flyers at the local schools at lunch time.

My brother in law went around an adjoining subdivision where he used to live, and passed out more flyers.

Unfortunately, the wind is coming up here. If she's flying, she could get carried a long ways. Tusk was out in a really bad storm two of the days he was lost, and we found him seven miles away.

Nothing to do now but wait for people to start calling me. Hopefully soon!

Everyone has a "prized possession" in their life. For me, it's not a possession. It's a bird. Maggie is my most bonded, most velcroed, and right now most missed... member of my flock!

I'VE GOT TO FIND HER!!! SHE'S TOO BIG, AND TOO LOVING... SOMEONE WILL FIND HER!!! SHE ISN'T GOING TO DIE OUT THERE ALONE... THAT JUST CAN'T BE ALLOWED TO HAPPEN!!!

I JUST WANT HER HOME...

I have literally been checking this thread continuously for the past couple of days. I can't even look at other threads. So hoping and praying for Maggie to be found or at least for an inkling of good news like a sighting somewhere. I feel so helpless so far away in Canada. For what it's worth I'm still sending much prayers and wishes for you and Maggie to be safely reunited. Don't lose hope. You have a support team literally all over the globe. I am sure with the word out there somebody somewhere will have seen something. Again best wishes to a happy ending for this ordeal.

May be a long shot but what about real time Google earth of the area. Sorry if that's crazy but I am trying to think of anything to help you.

Have you asked main event to put up a flyer?

Got flyers up at Main Event and Chewys, and Home Depot, and the local elementary and middle school...
