I think there are a couple more sites If I find them i will post.

Well, Petfinder just made 5-6,000 telephone calls in the five mile radius where Maggie was last seen.

I dropped off more flyers at the local schools at lunch time.

My brother in law went around an adjoining subdivision where he used to live, and passed out more flyers.

Unfortunately, the wind is coming up here. If she's flying, she could get carried a long ways. Tusk was out in a really bad storm two of the days he was lost, and we found him seven miles away.

Nothing to do now but wait for people to start calling me. Hopefully soon!

Everyone has a "prized possession" in their life. For me, it's not a possession. It's a bird. Maggie is my most bonded, most velcroed, and right now most missed... member of my flock!

I'VE GOT TO FIND HER!!! SHE'S TOO BIG, AND TOO LOVING... SOMEONE WILL FIND HER!!! SHE ISN'T GOING TO DIE OUT THERE ALONE... THAT JUST CAN'T BE ALLOWED TO HAPPEN!!!

I JUST WANT HER HOME...

it will happen...it has to. I have posted her picture on the parrot FB pages I can....they are also reposting....xoxo

Just a thought, how often do you go to this pond and is it possible Maggie is trying to find her way home instead of staying in the immediate area? If so, have you scouted along the most likely path she might take back to your house? I know you have smart birds and perhaps she picked up on the route you take to and from the pond and is trying to take that back?

I've thought about that. But it's just too large an area to search effectively. Especially if she's still flying and it's windy. if she finds a familiar landmark she'll find her way home on her own. I can't count on that though.

Someone is going to find her. It's probably not going to be me. That's reality. Whether it's in the search area or not. They need to be able to find me, when they find her.

I've done all I can in that respect. And a fair number of people have helped.

It's hard because so far I only hear crickets. But really, I lost her Saturday evening. She was gone Sunday. It's only Monday.

It took three weeks to find Tusk.

Waiting and worrying is the hard part. That's what makes you come unglued...

I saw Parrot 911's post come up on my facebook feed and my stomach sank. I knew immediately before I even read the post that it way our bird, Mark. I'm so sorry, but you've trained her well, people know you, she WILL be found and she WILL be safe. She'll find her way back to you.

I've posted on different Facebook parrot groups I am in. Hopefully someone will see Maggie.

I know Tusk was gone for quite a while, and that was difficult, but he eventually made it home. I am certain Maggie will too. Hopefully much quicker than Tusk did so you are not having to worry about her.

UPDATE: Mark just called me. He has a solid lead on Maggie! She was spotted 1 mile from home, in someone's tree! She was there for 2 hours! Mark is currently on his way to set up Maggie's playstand there along with food and water.

She did fly from the tree again, but Mark knows the vicinity she is in. It is dark now, so she is probably roosting.

Continued prayers that they will be reunited ASAP!

I am beyond thrilled about this lead!!

Yay!! So excited. Will feel better when Mark gets on here and says she's home happy and safe!

This is great news! I hope he is able to find her TONIGHT or first thing tomorrow. Thanks for the update Wendy.

Such a sad story to read, where is this taking place, city state, just in case it's close to me to keep an eye out for a found bird?

I'm in Northeast Ohio, so that won't add assistance, I'll try to keep a cyberspace eye open.

As a new CAG owner this scares the crap out of me.

Thanks so much for letting us know. Such a relief to get positive news:)

Here's hoping he's able to lay eyes on her and get close enough that in her panic she seeks him!
