I'm really hoping these sightings pay off, Mark! 3 independent verifications! What an incredible lead!

I gotta believe we're close...

When you meet up with this woman, collect all the info you possibly can on her. Name, number, license plate, anything you can. Thinking like a crazy bird stealer for a minute: she finds Maggie and loves her but has a fear of you tracking her down. All she has to do is convince you that the bird she Has isn't Maggie and she's free to keep her forever! I sure hope that is not the case (although I really kind of do) but, getting good info would mean you can track her down if she dicks for cover.

G's it took me forever to catch up on this thread. :)

Grace thank you for the link to the news story. They did a amazing job.

Mark you held it together . Great Job

yes you do because it is going to happen. Every morning my 10 year old asks me about Maggie and is she home....the news story is wonderful...
hugs Mark! Waiting for the update!

When I meet up with her and the bird, I'll know instantly if it's Maggie or not, but why would you call and invite me over if it was? She's AFRAID someone is going to steal her bird for the reward money now... It's not her. But I think there's someone else...

She lives in the same area where the person was showing off a greenwing and bragging about finding the bird in a tree in her yard... Three different people gave me essentially the same story. Someone had her out, and was showing her off...

And THAT is where I free fly Maggie on a regular basis, SO YES, I BELIEVE SHE WAS COMING HOME ON HER OWN!!!

I'll be knocking on doors in Heritage for the next week or so... AND IT'S NOT THAT LARGE A SUBDIVISION. If it's Maggie, she won't be able to hide her for long...

I was thinking she might be the same lady. Even better if she isn't!! Would you mind if I made a post on imgur about you guys? It's a totally different audience.

I just keep saying to myself.... "Please, please, PLEASE let this be the lead that brings Maggie home to you"!

You're in my thoughts so much.

You and me both. I can't help but think that this is it...

And thank you... and everyone else who is helping on this.

And I don't mind at all. Anyone who is helping need not ask...

WHAT EVER IT TAKES TO GET HER HOME!

She doesn't fit the description of the lady who was showing off the bird... and why would someone make that up?! Much less three people...

Oh, and a second macaw was found yesterday, and submitted to Parrot 911.

Military macaw. They heard I was looking for a green macaw. Not a greenwing. They found a green one... SO THAT'S TWO NOW!!!

Two CAGS. Two Big Macs... and a quaker. (And Tusk. Maggie's next!)

Look hard enough and you'll find them. I really do believe that.

Of course, you need help from good honest people for that to happen.

GOOD KARMA!

Hurray for good karma!

You are so close! I would be a basket case right now! I'm sooo hoping this is your week to bring her home! My husband, kids and employee all have been asking for updates! You have lots of love and prayers surrounding you both!! You WILL be reunited! I just know it! ;) Good luck tonight!

I've been a basket case SINCE IT HAPPENED...

I'm less of a basket case knowing she's still alive, still in the area, and we're THIS close to finding her. This is the third time since it happened that I've come very close.

The first set of calls we made? She was sitting in someone's yard two hours earlier. We just missed getting her back...

Someone called me (after the fact) and said she was in a tree in his yard, but he tried to grab her, and she flew off... THEN he called me. (She would have come to me!)

NOW THIS!

I couldn't sleep last night. I was glued to the ceiling all night. I might as well have drunk 16 cups of coffee at bedtime...

Don't blame you at all for not sleeping last night! Hopefully this will end soon! And you're right, I would have been a basket case from the beginning too. The not knowing where she is is the hard part!

You know what they say..third time is the charm! ;)

It's actually a double third time...

We've already found two macaws... (Maggie makes it three.)

We've had two near misses...

In any event, the first macaw we found had been missing since late JANUARY!

SO IT TAKES TIME... SOMETIMES.

I just gotta keep looking... You can't hide a bird that big forever!

Even more reason for this time to be it! ;)

The first macaw found had been missing and out on its own since late January? This is amazing to me, I would have thought it would have a very hard time finding food for that long.....thats one wiley bird!

Not really.

He landed in some guys yard in early February, a few days after he went missing. The guy filled up a food bowl. Didn't know whose bird it was. Thought it was mine, so he called me. I called parrot 911...
