Introduciing a B&G Macaw to my quaker

I have a 3 year old unsexed quaker who I love. I have been looking into getting a blue and gold macaw here in a few months do you think they will do well together? I have not had other birds around my quaker though she does fly around outside with wild birds from time to time but there not birds larger than her. Could me getting a new bird change her attitude towards me?

when angel ( my b&g) flys into the small bird room, they all freak out. its mostly budgies that are the most scared of her.
i think getting another bird, no matter the size, would change the dynamic to some extent, but as long as you give your quaker the same amout of attention that he's used to it shouldn't change his attitude.
i wouldn't expect the macaw and quaker to be best buddies, mine all tolerate each other at best! lol x
