Yuri’s inner chickum is coming out more and more
She literally “chicken-pecks” now. I’m talking full on:
Last week she was at her bird sitter’s and when I picked her up first thing she did was immediately fly to my head (of course) and then I kid you not she just started chicken pecking the top of my head repeatedly
for at least like 5 mins she was up there just “peck peck peck” and it actually hurt a little! She’ll be hanging out and I’ll look over and just see her go into chickum mode and start pecking her perches. I even caught her eating like that yesterday!! Oh, Yuri. My sweet and slightly unhinged birb.

Miss Yuri now says “Morning!” as a greeting - any time of day usually when she gets up in the morning she says it. The other day I walked in at 8:30pm and said “Morning!”

YES! Vortex says 'Good morning' whenever she sees me, but usually when I pull the cover off the cage.
