I’ve been reading a bit about how people have given their bird scrambled or hard boiled eggs. It shouldn’t be given too often to them apparently. Is it a good idea to try? Do your birds like it? I’m curious because I would have never thought you could give them egg but then again I don’t see a dangerous reasoning not to and that it’s an enjoyable treat to offer occasionally.

I wouldn’t use scrambled eggs, Boiled eggs are the best option and can be mixed with a dry egg and biscuit powder mix from your local pet shop to make a really high protein food (very popular amongst breeders feeding this while young are in the nest).

Our Amazon enjoys eggs on occasion. Boiled works best as we can limit to the white segment with some crushed shell. This would be a part of any overall healthy diet.
