issue with macaw feathers

I have an approximately 8-month-old blue and gold macaw parrot. For the past two weeks, I have noticed soft, fluffy, white, cotton-like feathers appearing only on the upper surface of its wings only other parts are looks good.

Could anyone please tell me whether this is a normal part of molting or a sign of a health problem?

I am also attaching a picture for reference. Any advice or information would be greatly appreciated.

It has been 10 years since I've had a B&G, but I think....it looks like molt? Do you spray or give the baby? That can help alot with molting. Hoping Macaw owners will respond.
