Hey guys,
Sorry, i did not see the posts earlier.

I think Jordan is doing better.
I followed all doctor's advices and i think Jordan is starting getting better.
He started flying also and play with me. Feeding him 5-6 times a day the formula along with some vegetables.
Still i have not seen him eating seeds alone, i saw him drinking water but he still eats formula.
I am planning to visit the doctor again in some days to confirm his progress.
He went to 98gr, this was 5-6 days ago. Then i checked the weight again and he was 94gr and then again around 100gr at some point. When the doctor put him on the scale was 110gr but this was after eating. So the first time i checked his weight was 94 - thats why i am saying he gained some weight actually.
It is not very easy to check his weight everyday as in the morning when i feed him it is not very easy to put him in the scale. Sometimes he is ok, sometimes not so i dont want to force / scare him as our relationship is getting better. He allows me to touch him and play together.

He eats carrots and zucchini with pleasure, some lettuce too. He does not like millet for some reason - maybe still too young.
I will start giving him pellets in one week or so to see how it goes.

He's looking good. Thanks for the update! I really wouldn't worry about millet. Some birds find it addicting. He's eating carrots, so maybe a little cooked mushed sweet potato for extra calories.

one quick question, when i put my hand-fingers close to him he tries to bite them

also he tried to bite my ear while he was sitting on my shoulder - but sometimes he does it hard so it is a bit painful.
Any idea why is he doing that?and if it is not considered as normal / good behavior how to stop him doing it?

Birds do everything with their beak. Their parents discourage biting behavior. Find artificials here on shunning. It is the best and easiest way to discourage this biting. Especially since he is so young. I as a a retired ICU, ER, RN have never been in favor of a beak near eyes, ears, nose. I've seen accidents from startled tame and friendly parrots. That's my opinion there's lots here who disagree. I suggest shunning to get him trustworthy before the shoulder. My CAG, is always nibbling and 'tasting' my hands, wrists and arms. That doesn't mean she won't give a nip or two. A shunning and she's behaving again.

Hi guys, Jordan in general doing well, he is eating pellets now - i stopped the formula
He is in good mood in general, eating well and play.

Only problem is that he dont want to stay in his cage, i have put several toys inside but when i put him in he starts climbing and gets very energetic cause he wants to get out.
And the thing is that I think he is chewing his tail feathers.

I am not sure if he is stressed from this and chewing them or something else is happening.

I would appreciate some help.
Other than that he is active.

He is around 4 months now.
When i got him he had a really long tail feather that now it is missing.

I was wondering how he was doing. Glad to hear he's fine. An expert on babies would have to tell you if it's chewing. He's actually looking good. Don't forget those veggies. Or you'll be in the how with I get my bird to eat club..
