A while ago, I fell in love with one of (Super Moderator) Terry57's many rescue birds. Just one of those modern on-line things! I have since "adopted" him virtually. Xander the Alexandrine Parakeet needs his own Scrapbook here. Much like The Rickeybird's, it will be a mix of love, foolishness and community solidarity.
I can't wait for all of you to get to...

This is an official entry. Here's Little Parrot (we still haven't chosen a permanent name) the cinnamon GCC deciding that it's as much fun to chew on the basket itself as the chewable things inside it. After only a few days, he's busily exploring his new home and trying out all the parrot toys.

I ended up getting one of these for my guys, it works better with their smaller beaks….

I can weave their veg thru the bars and it makes it just that much harder for Peachie to chuck her greens onto the floor!!

Not sure what they call it where you are, but here in Oz they call it a "baffle" and/or "foraging" cage

Per the doctors order I have temporarily separated Merlin (left) and Luna (right) due to a possible infection.
The sea grass Matt is blocking the passage between the two cages.

Merlin’s busy beak is trying to break through. I don’t think my barrier is going to last the 7-10 days needed to complete treatment.
