Leg Bands

Hello, So a month ago we adopted a U2 and is just a sweetie, but Tane's (Ta-ney) back story is quickly falling apart. I was finally able to get pictures of Tane's leg band to read it (on Tane's left leg) not sure if that means anything or not,but I'm confused and not sure where to look or how to get information. I do know Tane come from Florida. The band is solid and flat. Reads FF FL 303 Does anyone know what this means or how I can find the breeder to get more info?

the band number appears to me as a Florida Breeders ID and a number associated to the bird. The breeder FF may have more details.. .. Others here may be able to help quickly.. google is your friend too

I remember using a look up identifying my BFA as coming thru the Port of San Diego in 1974
