Hey guys! I bought some pasta made from red lentils and green lentils that I wanted to use in a mash recipe. Is this okay? It's made from organic green lentil flour, organic pea flour, and organic brown rice flour.

RIP Gandalf and Big Bird, you are missed.
Should be OK with those ingredients. I use a variety of pastas in the form of spiral noodles. Their favorite is either 100% whole wheat, or a similar base with "supergreens" such as kale, spinach, etc. The latter is dark green without the use of food coloring and has an excellent flavor!

I once tried a lentil pasta; it was a bit dry but acceptable. Also saw a black bean pasta by the same manufacturer, but it was not spiral. My birds won't eat anything that looks like a worm!!
