Thank you all!! It will be interesting to see how this Magna will look in 4 years. I know I can't wait, but I have a strong feeling he will look JUST like his brother.

Parker has never liked playing on his back... I think Sam and parker are the same age...Parker is getting more yellow all the time he even has a stray one on the back of his head lol

AWESOME,Tab, thanks for doing this. He will be getting LOTS more yellow on his head, and his wings aren't done yet either. His "true" colors should be out when he is 5 years old or so.

He is a special birdy for sure. I love his pictures when he is on his back playing with you. This is a complete trust.
He looks similar to Simba right now, with some green on his head. Just like you, I wonder how he is going to look when older.
What fun it is for you to watch him grow.
You both are sooooooo lucky to have each other.

Here is a picture of Sam when he was around 9 weeks. They are born butt naked HAHAHAHAHHA. As they feather in, they only have a bit of yellow on their foreheads, and over time it will cover their entire head (Magnas). They will also start off with only a wee bit of red on their shoulders, then that will spread, mixed with yellow. AND they develop their yellow thighs as they mature.

Wow, how time flies!

Sam is going to be 3 next month, and I took a whole lot of pictures of the fids yesterday, so I figured I'd put them in here for comparison reason.

He's coloring very nicely. Can't wait to see what he'll look like in another 3 years or so.
