New Rug/Carpet

Hi all, I need some advice. I am having new carpet installed upstairs and two area rugs put downstairs. The flock sleeps downstairs in their own room (no carpet). The carpets/rugs ARE treated. How long do you think is a good amount of time to keep them in their aviaries outside? They sleep outside often so they are use to it and it won't be traumatic. The traumatic part will be for me, lol. Thank you in advance!!
