New to here and parrots in general

Hi,

Im new to all this and so wanted to say hi.

My partner is the actual "bird Man" and is a member of a parrot rescue charity. As a result we "safe House" birds until they can be rehomed.

At the moment we have a Patagonian Conure called Ollie and a Orangetip Amazon called Tango.

Being new to birds, I was wondering if anyone has any tips in regards to foods, treats, toys etc. The Charity have given me stuff, but I seem to find conflicting information in the books, websites etc.

You can browse through the forums to find many good suggestions and discussions, if you have any specific questions feel free to ask. It's just a bit of a broad question to answer in one post.

Perhaps if you tell us what he's on now (for food) or what they gave you we'd have a better starting point.
