Old and goofy bird cage thread!

This is a thread where you can share old bird cages or some really goofy looking cages. This is just to look at the past and appreciate how far we have come in the husbandry of our avian friends! Or just to laugh at silly looking cages! Both are very much welcomed here.

For me, #6 is one that is very familiar to me since I believe I was a captive DYHA in my past life and that cage was the cage I was kept in, since it has appeared in many dreams before, and 90% of the ones it appeared in, I was in the cage.

Perhaps you had a bird or even were a bird in a past life? Maybe your past life was somewhere in Asia, since the ones I sent previously in a reply on a the dream thread were mostly of Asian origin. You did say 2 and 3 were most familiar to you, which could mean that it could have been in America or Britain? Just some speculation on what you have stated.

There's a video I saw recently from snake discovery and they visited someone with a large collection of antique animal cages. Some of the bird cages had like a ferris wheel in them.

I saw it too! I found it super fascinating! Especially the stroller cage and the like spinny front cage! That was super interesting! It’s also what inspired this thread haha
