My little sister wants to paint her room and I'm worried about Hiccup, since our rooms are connected by a vent and Hiccup, obviously, is in my room. I'm worried about fumes and how long they'll be lingering, any advice?

We're supposed to be hit by another heat wave here and that's where the AC comes through. I don't want to melt. I can move Hiccup down stairs, I'm just wondering how long to do that for? How long are the fumes going to linger

Would that just be for an enamel or a Lytex based paint to? We're using Lytex based and there are a lot of windows in her room that will be open

The people you bought the paint from ought to be able to tell you. I am sensitive to paint fumes myself, and they now make some "fume free" paints for interiors that are good.
