Paper mache as in flour & water, nothing else (no glues etc.)
Would it be toxic if a bird were to chew it up after it hardens?
I'm pretty sure newspaper isn't good for them to chew up coz of the inks & stuff, but let's say I used maybe brown paper bags/ computer paper or something like that with no ink.
Only reason I ask is coz I've just set up my gcc's cage in my room (I don't have the actual bird yet lol) & I was working on a little paper mache project at my desk right next to it & I had the idea of making a foraging type toy, kinda like a small pinata, for the bird to tear apart & get treats out of. Would this be harmful for them?
