Plum head mutations

Hello iv had my plums over 6 months
But my male has not got his pink/purple head, he has blue head and yellow tale, they have 2 babies in nest box now 3 weeks old, but i had a friend tell me that my male is mutation/ split lutino
Can anyone tell me what this mean?
He said I maybe get mutation babie?

Lutino is a sex-linked mutation. Males need two of the gene to show it visually, females only need one. If your male is split Lutino, it means he has one copy of the gene. If he passes that on to his daughters, they will be lutino. Females cannot be split to sex linked genes, so if neither of your birds LOOK lutino, but you get lutino babies, that means your male is split lutino and the lutino babies are female.

So I may get some Latino..
I can see one in green and blue/gray head..
2nd on is looking green/yellow but still very young..

Lutino generally expresses itself in yellow, yes. However, there are other mutations of plum heads, but I know virtually nothing about that specific species other than that they are lovely asiatic parrots and I can tell male from female, but I'm not familiar enough to know what is normal feathering and what is not.

HOWEVER, it is VERY IMPORTANT that you learn what normal feathering looks like for your bird. If your bird has abnormal feathers, than yes, it is possible there is a color mutation there, but it could ALSO mean DISEASE or other extreme health problem and could be threatening he life of your bird. Birds are very good at hiding their illnesses.

As an example, this week I was involved in the rescue of several blue and gold macaws who were in dire straights. They were all experiencing multiple health problems. They all looked beautiful, they were all in full feather and everything, not too thin or anything like that, at least not from looking at them. But they had yellow feathers on their back, one had so many he almost looked pied! What's the problem? You say, "they are blue and yellow birds, why the concern over yellow feathers?" Because it indicates that the birds had severe liver damage to the point of it being life threatening, and the only indication was the feather color. So please go to a knowledgeable breeder and find out exactly what is up with your birds feathers. Even if you don't believe me that it could happen, you should do it anyway because if it is a mutation then your babies should be worth a higher price tag than a normal plum head.

Also the a heads do not get their color right away, at least the first molt. They will keep the greenish heads for quite a while.

I spoke to a friend who breeds them. She says she would need to see the center tail feathers on the male, but she thinks perhaps a slaty cross is what you are looking at.

Crossed to slaty, which is a color mutation... You really REALLY need to do some research man, like going and finding the answers, not just asking other people for them...
