She is beautiful! I think the breed is a Golden Sebright. The world’s oldest chicken actually made it into her twenties! Fifteen is an amazing age though; I’ve only had two make it that long and very few who even came close to that age.
According to the Guinness Book of Records, Gertie, the birdie (a Golden Seabright Bantam) IS the world's oldest living chicken at 15. She resides in Portland Maine in her owners living room because she went blind in her old age.

The oldest chicken EVER was 21 but I think Guiness picks a new chicken yearly? Who knows!
I'd love to have a house chicken but I fear my house would be wall to wall chicken poop!
