Propane fireplaces.

We have four fireplaces that are propane.We are supposed to get high winds from sandy.Tons of trees around here so im being ready for a power outage.If the electric goes out could we use the propane fireplaces without harming our parrot?Anyone encountered this before? Thanks much!

I've used a propane fireplace for years with birds in the house.

Dont know about propane but I just want to wish you and every body a safe night, especially in new jersey , Massachusetts ,Pennsylvania . Hope me and my fids can get through it
