Question about baby parrots!

I heard from someone that most of the time, when a parrot has a clutch, the hatchlings are all the same gender.

I was curious as to if this was true? If a hatchling is DNA'd female, how likely is it that the rest of the clutch is female as well?
 
I did a Google search and couldn't find information after searching several pages which dealt with sexing chicks. So I bet it's probably not true or people wouldn't be testing all chicks of a clutch.
Funny thing, though... the Rickeybird had two siblings, who both turned out to be male...
 
There's no truth to that. Most all of my clutches are mixed gender.
