Senegal poop

Our Senegal, Robbie, has always had loose poops, like living with a goose! She eats the same as everyone else, is happy and healthy. Age unknown, came to us years ago as a plucker (bad diet, smokers in home, possible some verbal abuse). Just wondering if Senegals just have naturally looser poops. I always forget to mention this to the vet.

Put plain white piece of paper towels on the bottom of his cage and take a look at his poop in the morning. Take a photo of the poop and post it. Some of us will tell you whether we think its normal (but we are not vets). Generally, with any parrots, if the solid feces portion is formed not liquid, watery poops are from a wet diet and/or drinking a lot, not diarrhea. If the solids are liquid that's diarrhea and you need to go to the vet.

Ok, thanks. The other birds poops tend to be a bit firmer, so Robbie is just channeling her inner goose.
