Should I buy unweaned baby

We bought Sweet Pea unweaned, but I would never have a bird shipped to me, baby or otherwise. We did fine w/the handfeeding, the breeder was always nearby to answer our questions. She was not a bad breeder, she was right ~ handfeeding a baby lory is super easy, and it was.

henpecked is right - also I question a breeder willing to ship an unweaned baby to someone who has never handfed a baby bird. I'd move on to the next breeder.
