I am in the process of adoption but am taking it very slowly and meeting lots of birds. This past Saturday I was introduced to a sibling pair of hybrid conures (sun conure and black capped
). They are beauties--all green body with that black capped-/green cheek-looking face and sunny colors under their wings.
They are very skittish and I didn't handle them but they are also under a year and therefore I feel have lots of potential...[disclaimer: not to say an older bird lacks that potential]. They are currently housed together; would it be better to house them separately or more stress on them since they already have each other? Do sibling pairs tend to develop as strong a bond as other pairs? Or would it come down to socializing them 1:1? Thanks!
