Conure. Cockatiels
Dumpy looking feeling poorly male 5 yr old cockatiel. Sits fluffed up , head under wing. Eating abit , not very interested in water. Iā€™m thinkingā€¦heā€™s often on floor eating everything. Crumbs of anything, dirt, dog food and even cat litter.( pika?) Has he eaten something unhealthy for him or even slightly impacted gut. He does poop. Live in area, fairly far from avian vet. Any suggestions anyone? Any place I can look up vet info?

I'm sorry your little one does not appear to be doing so well, @Colleen macdonald. Difficult to say what the problem may be, but if he does go eating from the floor he may have picked up something that doesn't agree with him. Avian vets are becoming a little harder to find, indeed mine has just retired, but hopefully you may find one in the list that I've linked below who can help your little guy out šŸ¤žšŸ¤žšŸ¤ž

Welcome to the forums, and I hope your baby will be ok!
