I have NEVER met a budgie who actually liked veggies-
Oh, she loves her greens! Letuces, spinach, dandelion leaves, carrot leaves (especially the carrot leaves!!)

Angela likes veggies - especially green ones ☺️
I've just found them to be VERY picky. Of course some will like things others don't!

It's waay too cold here for taking the birds out...:(
But the SIZE of that cage
Thank you! Ta-dah actually use to share a cage with her budy Burt the Burd that was 4 feet deep and 6 feet high! But cleaning that monstrosity and changing perches was a nightmare. So I sold it to a guy for his Eclectus.

After trying many I really like these white box style ones best. The quaker ones are a different brand and a little larger and better made. ( heck if I know the brand)

Today I'm doing a deep cleaning of everything. Whew taking a break

My smaller birds all have 32 x 38 x 21 inch cages (width x height x depth) and Jasper has a 40 x 72 x 30
I don't mind cleaning, whatever is best for them.

They sound awesome and worthy of your babies πŸ’•

Ha, better person than I.
I hate the mess , keep trying to find better ways to contain it. The acrylic on top helps a lot since they are out, and its easy to wipe off....but the floor the walls...ugh

I just let them be birds! Of course I don't like cleaning any more than you do and it's COMPLETELY understandable if people want to contain mess...lol
I mean, I also have all the time in the world for them, unlike most people

I keep waiting for a photo contest that it would be fitting for but.....
Anyway here is Angel in sunlight.
Angel is actually a pearl lutino but her coloring makes it hard to spot.
