Good news guys! Whether I lose my current job or not, I will probably have a Christmas casual job working where my sister works, so that's something at least =] And by then I should be fully recovered!
So happy for you, at least one way or the other you will have a job.

The sun is shining down on all of us I think!
I too have a new job. I wasn't even looking for it lol! One of our elderly customers needs help around her home and she wanted me because she knows she can trust me. Her Doctor has organised home help funds which have come through so she is paying me money.
Such a lovely lady. Very flexible as obviously the shop will always have to come first.
Lovely surprise and another thing for Vonny to do! Sadly it will mean less time on the forum. =[

Thanks, Ant, I am really relieved =]
I also got to see my boyfriend today for the first time in 3 weeks (he hasn't been to visit me in case he gets sick, as well as work commitments), so that brightened my day and feeling better mentally has made me feel better physically.

for Cal and us Glad it's all looking sunnier Alienation!
I know Ant....Cal will be fine, it is only a few hours a week. Two mornings or afternoons. I will miss her though. Currently trying to decide if today is too cold for her down here....I don't think I will risk it because of the fever, I don't think I am feeling what the temp actually is!
She will have Daddy to keep her company though and failing that the kitty puss (who very endearingly cries when Cal comes downstairs - she must miss her!!! You often find her sitting on the sofa nearest to Cal's cage and purring while Cal twitters on.)
Maybe I can convince "Daddy Dave" to come on the forum in place of me to keep all of YOU company too

Luckily most birds adapt quickly and settle down. At least Dave and Kitty will be present.
