Traveling Long Distance for New Job with Two Birds. Fly or drive?

You know,

A thought just popped into my head...With the spread of bird flu going around, I'm wondering if the airlines won't be putting any particular New protocols in place regarding birds traveling on planes?

Reason I brought this up I have been noticing signs being placed in windows and on notice boards of pet/avian stores here in Michigan
stating NOT to take your birds (parrots) outside this summer.

Also I noticed a few Birds shows/expo's being canceled, and many Fair grounds are also saying NO to having any type Birds there this year

That's odd, Last I checked, there wasn't any reported cases in Michigan....Yet. Second I didn't think Parrots could contract bird flu. I asked an avian vet about it their reply was that it is a virus and Viruses Can and do mutate, do you want to take that chance..and left it at that.

Hmmm, my birds love their outdoor Gazebo....They'd go nuts not being able to go out.

Anyone else seeing these types of notices in their area?
